The Dubai Arabian Horse Stud has begun the UAE Arabian horse showing season with a slew of impressive titles at the Sharjah International Arabian Horse Show for Straight Egyptian Horses held at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club last week.
The Dubai Arabian Horse Stud 2021 winners were:
D AMEEREYYAH won Gold Champion Filly
D AFAF won Gold Champion Mare
D K’HLAN won Gold Champion Colt
D HAYDAR won Gold Champion Stallion
D OMNIA won Silver champion Mare
D MEMZER won Silver Champion Colt
D AFAYEF won Bronze Champion Filly
This follows an impressive summer season in Europe which saw the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud pick up a decisive number of Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for their Arab horses including the impressive Mediterranean and Arab Countries Arabian Horse Club- Menton- present The Dubai Arabian Horse Stud with the ‘Best Stud in Menton History,’ with 33 awards in 30 years.
At the Spring International Arabian Horse Show 2021 held in Italy , D SHAHHAR won the Unanimous Gold ‘Champion Yearling Colt’ & ‘Best in the Show’ awards. In the Prague 2021 Inter-Cup, D JAHRAA won ‘Gold Champion Junior Filly’ and at the Bergamo Arabian Horse Show D FANNAN won ‘Gold Champion Junior Colt.’
Earlier in October, the Dubai Arabian Stud offered the Arabian showing world an exclusive Expo 2020 auction sale. The collection of 119 premium Arabian horses were shown and sold at Emirates Auctions site in honour of the Dubai Expo 2020 and drew buyers from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Europe and beyond.
The highest prices on the night went to the mares DE RAYANA and DE RANANA, both reaching an incredible Dhs 900,000 while the mare JAMILA, was sold for Dhs 800,000.
